Dried Echinops

Echinops, sometimes called globe thistle, is a light-blue bulb and is a unique accent flower with many uses. It pairs well with yarrow, billy balls, and safflower, to name a few. Add echinops to your bridal bouquet or use it as a standalone flower in a vase. The last seven pictures offer ideas on how to use these versatile flowers!

Grade A is a vibrant blue with large blooms. Grade B is more grayish blue with smaller blooms. Stems vary from 18″ to 22″ long. Each bunch is approximately 4 ounces and has about 4–6 stems containing about 12–18 flowers total.

Note: Some of the flowers may fall off in transit; this is normal! I overpack the bunches to account for it. Don’t be alarmed if some heads are loose in the box when it arrives. Again, this is normal!

Stems contain prickly leaves, so use gloves if you plan to remove the leaves as pictured.
